OLYMPIC WEIGHTLIFTING

The Olympic Weightlifting class is a fitness class that focuses on the technical and strength training needed to perform the two events in Olympic weightlifting: the Snatch and the Clean and Jerk. 

The goal of the class is to improve strength, speed, power, explosiveness, coordination and agility. 

The class is suitable for intermediate and advanced fitness level athletes and can be an effective way to improve overall fitness and enhance athletic performance.

For safety reasons, the basic skill requirements to participate in the class are:

  • Front squat
  • Overhead squat
  • Strict overhead press
  • Push press
